Xbox Game Pass has revealed its second wave of August 2026 additions, with nine more games coming soon, including three day-one releases. The announcement follows an already busy start to Xbox Game Pass this month, which recently added games including Beast of Reincarnation and Heretic + Hexen.

Three of the games in the latest Xbox Game Pass announcement are confirmed as day-one additions. Vapor World: Over the Mind enters Game Preview on August 19, offering a Soulslike platformer centered on a narrative-driven experience exploring a fractured mind. After that, Blood Dungeon, a 2D platforming survival game from the creators of Nidhogg, releases on August 25. Finally, the biggest name on the list arrives August 27 with Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which follows Sophia from Requiem to Minotaur’s Island as she solves puzzles, encounters dangerous trials, and attempts to stay ahead of the soldiers pursuing her, in what looks to be a more refined combat experience for the franchise. All three are available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
