PS5 Has 5 Big Games Releasing in June 2026

PlayStation 5 gamers needing something new to play should keep a look-out for five games that will be released for the console in June 2026. The PS5 has had a busy year so far, with most major third-party games releasing on the platform and Sony itself delivering a highly-rated exclusive in Saros. But there are still plenty of heavy hitters coming in the months ahead.

In fact, Sony has already confirmed that the Insomniac Games Wolverine PS5 exclusive is releasing on September 15, and the console exclusive Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls game is coming on August 6. Those games are still months away, but there are plenty of interesting titles to look forward to in the more immediate future as well.

10 PlayStation + PC Games Are Shutting Down on June 1

June 1 will see a culling of games across the PlayStation and PC space, with a total of 10 games taken offline on that date.

This is not a comprehensive list of every PS5 game releasing in June 2026.

Upcoming PS5 Games for June 2026

  • Gothic 1 Remake – June 5
  • The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales – June 18
  • Hell Let Loose: Vietnam – June 18
  • EA Sports UFC 6 – June 19
  • Dead or Alive 6: Last Round – June 25

June is historically a slower month for PlayStation more often than not, and this year is no exception to the rule. That being said, there are still some noteworthy games for fans to check out. On June 5, Gothic 1 Remake is hitting the PS5, with Square Enix’s The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launching on June 18 alongside online multiplayer shooter Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. On June 19, PS5 gamers can play the latest UFC game in EA Sports UFC 6, while fighting game fans will definitely want to check out Dead or Alive 6: Last Round on June 25.

Out of all the new PS5 games releasing in June 2026, the one that stands out the most to me is The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. For those unfamiliar with the game, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is an action-RPG that uses Square Enix’s snazzy HD-2D art style. Adventures of Elliot gameplay looks highly reminiscent of Nintendo’s Zelda franchise, and so it will give PS5 gamers a Zelda-like experience.

Beyond the new PS5 games coming out in June, there is more reason for owners of Sony’s latest console to be excited. Sony has confirmed that the next PlayStation State of Play event is taking place on Tuesday, June 2 at 2:00pm PT. The event is going to be over an hour long and will even be shown off in theaters, so clearly PlayStation has something big planned for the show. The only game we know for sure will be at the event is Wolverine, so it will be interesting to see what else is in store.

Hopefully the PlayStation State of Play on June 2 gives fans a better idea of what games to expect for the PS5 this summer and holiday season. Of course, most titles will likely do everything they can to avoid going head-to-head with GTA 6 and its November 19 launch date, so maybe the focus will be more on titles coming in 2027 and later. Time will tell.
