The Palworld Official Card Game has revealed the upcoming Legends Awaken expansion, featuring new cards of fan-favorite Pals like Broncherry and Jetragon. Legends Awaken will be the second full set for the trading card game adaptation of Palworld.
Palworld has been a smash hit with fans since the ambitious monster-catching survival game debuted in early access in 2024. Combining elements of games like Pokemon and Minecraft, Palworld quickly sold millions of copies within just a week of its launch and has grown exponentially in the following years. Developer Pocketpair has even begun to build Palworld into a full franchise, revealing Palworld: Palfarm as an upcoming farming sim spin-off and launching a trading card game based on Palworld in July. Now, the fledgling Palworld Official Card Game will soon receive its second full expansion.
Palworld Official Card Game Shows Legends Awaken Expansion
- Legends Awaken
- Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese
- 100 new cards, plus parallel and alternate artworks
- Releasing on October 30, 2026
The Palworld Official Card Game teased the Legends Awaken set during the recent Bushiroad English Conference Summer 2026. The expansion will feature more than 100 cards for fans to collect within its main set, plus several parallel and alternate-art versions as chase cards. Legends Awaken will welcome the addition of several new Pals to the card game, including fan-favorites like Chillet Ignis, Jetragon, and even a card featuring both antagonist Saya Kurosaki and Selyne. The Palworld Official Card Game‘s Legends Awaken expansion will be released simultaneously in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese, scheduled to launch on October 30.
The Legends Awaken expansion was not the only new content revealed for the Palworld Official Card Game. Bushiroad revealed a special set of card sleeves featuring artwork of a Pal Sphere, coming packed with exclusive promo cards of Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern, and Grizzbolt. A new set of Palworld Trial Decks was confirmed to be launching in December, joining the Red/Blue and Green/Purple decks released alongside the Dawn of Palpagos set. Bushiroad even gave fans an early hint about the card game’s third expansion, with the set confirmed to officially be releasing on January 29, 2027.
The early popularity of the Palworld Official Card Game has already sent fans and collectors into a frenzy following the debut of Dawn of Palpagos. The Palworld card game has been the target of scalpers early on in its life, with boxes of the game’s first set selling for far above MSRP on eBay. Some of the rarest cards in the set have also fetched exorbitant prices on the secondary market, including copies of the gold SSS Cattiva card selling for nearly $4,000. Neither Pocketpair nor Bushiroad have officially addressed the growing scalping problem in the Palworld Official Card Game.
The long-awaited launch of Palworld‘s TCG followed shortly after arguably the biggest update in the game’s history. Palworld officially launched its Version 1.0 update on July 10, adding multiple new areas for players to explore, including Sunreach and the long-rumored in-game debut of the World Tree. Palworld‘s Version 1.0 update introduced more than 70 new Pals to the game, while also adding the new Mutation mechanic and overhauling the Partner Skills for many Pals. Between the massive Version 1.0 update and the successful debut of the card game, Palworld‘s future looks brighter than ever.
