Despite having just started, the Season of Hell’s Legacy has already produced a clear contender for Diablo 4‘s best class of Season 15. Since the leaderboard feature was introduced to Diablo 4 in Season 11 alongside the Tower dungeon, the pair have served as a great way to gauge a build’s strength in any given season. Only a few days into the season, players are already clearing the Tower’s max level with one broken build on Diablo 4‘s newest class.
Diablo 4 Season 15 is celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary with the return of classic boss fights against the three Prime Evils from past entries, reimagined to fit within Diablo 4‘s framework. Additionally, the return of the iconic Deckard Cain, beckoning players to stay awhile and listen, has been a huge burst of nostalgia for fans itching for more classic Diablo content. For fans of what Diablo 4 has added in 2026, the Warlock class added in the Lord of Hatred DLC has quickly shot to the top of the meta after a disappointing debut back in April.
Diablo 4’s Warlock is Already Dominating the Season 15 Leaderboards
The Warlock has undergone a massive glow-up since it launched to a mediocre meta standing in its Season 13 debut. According to the Diablo 4 Warlock Leaderboard, over 99 players have already cleared tier 150 of the Tower, and the top 50 spots across all classes are currently held by Warlock builds. Compared to the mid-tier builds that the Warlock launched with, this turnaround only two seasons later has been a dramatic shift for a class that only just joined the franchise this year.
What makes the Warlock so powerful for Pit and Tower runs in Diablo 4 Season 15 is its overpowered Blazing Scream build. Speed and mobility are the name of the game when trying to clear the highest tiers of the Tower as fast as possible, and the Blazing Scream Warlock build uses several skills to close the distance between enemies while keeping a barrage of hellfire active at all times.
- Metamorphosis
- Command Abodian
- Sigil of Subversion
- Dark Prison
- Rampage
- Blazing Scream
Rampage and Command Abodian give the Warlock some very useful mobility skills that allow players to quickly jump from enemy to enemy as they make their way through the floors of the Tower or the Pit. Sigil of Subversion can also increase movement speed while granting the Warlock stacks of Shadowform, and Dark Prison’s Chain Aura upgrade reduces damage to the Warlock and gives players the survivability necessary to climb all the way to tier 150.
Most importantly, for this Diablo 4 Warlock build, Blazing Scream is an incredibly versatile skill that can act as a Greater Demon, Lesser Demon, Hellfire, Archfiend, Demonology, and Fire Damage Core skill all at once, giving it access to tons of potential modifiers. For example, the Elegy Mythic Unique Sword makes Blazing Scream an Archfiend skill, which can then benefit from the Infernal Homunculus Unique Focus, giving Blazing Scream even more damage and activating all Lesser Demon Upgrades. The combination of these weapons also lets Blazing Scream regenerate Wrath, so the Warlock can essentially spam it and send Pac-Man-like balls of hellfire around the map to quickly wipe out enemies.
While builds from other classes have started to break into tier 150 clears on the Leaderboards, including Druid and Sorcerer builds, the Warlock is still the most frequent class featured in the 150-clear club, and players were hitting that max tier clear with the Warlock faster than any other class. It remains to be seen if the Warlock will stay this strong moving forward, or if a round of nerfs will hit the class in future Diablo 4 seasons.
