LEGO Kicks Off March 2026 with 25 New Sets

LEGO Kicks Off March 2026 with 25 New Sets

25 new LEGO sets are available for purchase beginning today, March 1. Spanning 12 LEGO themes and nine age rating categories, the early March 2026 wave will soon be followed by even more products scheduled to arrive later this month.

LEGO historically releases products in waves throughout the year, most commonly in January, March, June and August. February and October waves are also a fairly regular occurrence, though they are generally smaller than the others. These releases tend to follow a consistent pattern, with direct-to-consumer products usually launching on different dates than mass retail items. The former typically arrive on the first day of the month, while the latter are less predictable and generally messier. LEGO’s January 2026 wave contained approximately 180 sets, including promotional items that were not sold directly but instead offered as part of the company’s traditional “Gift with Purchase” offers.

2 Adorable LEGO Sets Will Be Given Away in March 2026

Two adorable LEGO sets that seem like a perfect fit for Easter decorations will be up for grabs for a limited time in March 2026.

Second LEGO Wave of 2026 Now Rolling Out

The second wave of LEGO’s 2026 sets kicked off on March 1 with 25 new direct-to-consumer releases. The products span 12 LEGO themes, including Batman, Technic, Speed Champions, and Ninjago. Among the most affordable arrivals are three Batmobile models priced at $29.99 each. The most affordable set from the March 1 wave is 42225 Yellow Motorcycle, a simple 151-piece build rated for ages seven and up.

All New LEGO Sets Released on March 1, 2026

Most of the March 1 sets contain fewer than 1,000 pieces. The only exceptions are 77093 Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle, 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, 42228 McLaren MCL39 F1 Car, and 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel. They are also the most expensive offerings in LEGO’s latest product wave, retailing at $229.99 for the McLaren model, $149.99 for the container ship, $129.99 for the Zelda set, and $199.99 for the FIFA trophy. While the gap in pricing between Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel and McLaren MCL39 F1 Car may appear significant given the similar piece counts, it reflects their differing target audiences and design complexity. The McLaren is an adult-oriented LEGO Technic set, whereas the 12+ rated container vessel features a much more repetitive build that mostly consists of identical containers.

Several LEGO sets originally planned for release on March 1 have been delayed. These include 43300 Winnie the Pooh, a $149.99, 1,399-piece build that is now planned to arrive on March 19. Another Disney set, 43305 Piglet’s Birthday Fun, is in the same boat. 31220 Art Monet Lily Pads has also been pushed back to March 4.

Orders on most LEGO sets from the March 1 wave are limited to three per customer, which is a long-standing company practice intended to inhibit scalpers. One exception is 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel, which is limited to two orders per customer.
