Sims 4 Player Makes Character That Looks Exactly Like Alysa Liu

One of The Sims 4 players created a character that looks exactly like American figure skater Alysa Liu. Although it has been almost 12 years since the release of this social simulation game, the gaming community continues to show great interest in this title, which regularly receives updates and DLCs with new content that enriches the gameplay. One of the main reasons why this fourth main installment in the series of games developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts continues to enjoy immense popularity is the enhanced character creation system, which gives players a wide range of options to choose from when creating and customizing characters called “Sims.” Using the Create-a-Sim (CAS) interface implemented in The Sims 4, fans can decide on the smallest details of their characters’ appearance, assign them personality traits, and modify their family relationships.

The extensive character customization options in The Sims 4 allow players not only to experiment with different features and their impact on the virtual experience, but also to create their dream character without major restrictions. Gamers can choose a name for their character, determine their gender and age, shape their personality, and, above all, select elements such as hair, makeup, accessories, and clothing items. While some players decide to let their imagination run wild when designing characters, resulting in original and unique Sims, others try to recreate the appearance of well-known characters from the fictional and real world. As a result, fans make projects of Sims that closely resemble actors, athletes, singers, and other celebrities, as well as iconic characters from cartoons, books, anime, movies, and TV series.

The Sims 4’s new tattoo tool is taking over the community, and one player impresses by creating a Na’vi from the Avatar franchise.

Sims 4 Player Creates a Sim That Resembles Alysa Liu

One of The Sims 4 players recently showed off a character design resembling an American athlete who won a gold medal at this year’s Winter Olympics. On a subreddit dedicated to the game, a user named salsriot posted screenshots of a character they created, who has blonde and brown streaked hair, a septum piercing, and winter clothes, which makes her very reminiscent of figure skater Alysa Liu. The player also wrote that they rarely visit Mt. Komorebi world that was introduced in The Sims 4‘s expansion Snowy Escape, which is why they decided to create this character as a local of that region. The fan also emphasized that they do not yet have any specific plans for this Sim, but they are considering choosing snowboarding as a career path for her.

The post sparked lively reactions from other players, who immediately recognized Alysia Liu in the character presented and suggested changing her career path to figure skating. The author themselves responded to this suggestion, stating that it is feasible because they have The Sims 4‘s career mod that includes figure skating. Some fans also expressed their admiration for the distinctive hairstyle with which Alysa Liu launched the halo hair trend. The creator of the post announced that the hairstyle called “alysa hair” was taken from the user ImVikai, but for non-patrons, this item will only be available from March 20.

With the ability to create endless combinations of clothing, facial and body features, and various attributes, players are constantly finding new ways to make their Sims stand out from the crowd. Although unlocking advanced options and expanding resources often requires downloading mods or using user-created Custom Content, some fans decide to use only the elements available in the game, citing concerns about its performance or a desire to challenge themselves. Regardless of the reasons, over the years, Sims 4 players have developed solutions that allow everyone to customize their characters, for example by using CAS Randomizer, adding tattoos, or maximizing small details. As the game continues to evolve and more character creation features are added, fans of this famous social simulator can look forward to more tools that allow them to take a creative and imaginative approach to styling their Sims.
