How To Complete Sparkling Skylands In Pokemon Pokopia

If you’ve reached Sparkling Skylands, you’re already a pro at exploring and building habitats in Pokemon Pokopia. However, the Pokemon are now asking you to help them restore the largest structure yet. In this guide, we’ll walk you through all the tasks needed to “rebuild the huge building” in Sparkling Skylands, including all the building materials you’ll need and which Pokemon are best suited to help.

Make sure to check out our complete guide hub for Pokemon Pokopia, including how to time travel, build all habitats, and more.

How to start the Sparkling Skylands questline

  • The Sparkling Skylands questline begins by heading up the lift with Professor Tangrowth.
  • Talk to Rookidee.
  • Build the “Hydrated pink tall grass” habitat to attract Froakie.
  • Talk to Froakie, and then build the “Waterside dinghy” habitat to attract Dragonite.
  • Talk to Dragonite to learn Glide.
  • Glide to the next island.
  • Climb the tower to meet Tinkamaster.

Tinkamaster is going to ask you for concrete. You’ll want to build the “Construction site generator” habitat to attract Conkeldurr. Gather up some limestone around the area while you wait for Conkledurr to spawn, as you’ll need the material for making concrete.

Conkledurr will give you the recipe to build a concrete mixer. Build the concrete mixer and assign the Pokemon to make concrete. You only need six concrete for Tinkamaster’s request, but make as much as you can. You’ll need lots of concrete later, and you can refer to the full material list below if you want to get ahead.

  • Complete Tinkamaster’s request to bring them six concrete and 1 iron ingot.
  • Build a lift platform using five iron Ingots, five concrete and one Tinkagear.
  • Place the lift on the platform at the location Tinkamaster requests.
  • Talk to Professor Tangrowth.
  • Reach the building with Professor Tangrowth and Tinkamaster by repairing the bridge to the island.
  • Talk to Tinkamaster.
  • Investigate each floor of the building.
  • Talk to Tinkamaster at the entrance and look at the building kit.

This begins Sparkling Skylands main quest to “rebuild the huge building.”

While you don’t need them to finish the area’s main quest, you’ll still want to glide over to the island behind the huge building, as well as the one located to the right of the building. These areas have additional Pokemon you can meet.

All building materials needed

If you’re looking to save time and be more efficient, I’d recommended gathering the materials needed for the full build and assigning Pokemon from various locations to help while you do other tasks.

For example:

  • You can assign Trubbish for making paper.
  • Grubbin or Timburr can make lumber.
  • Torchic or Charmeleon can make bricks.
  • Have multiple fire Pokemon smelting the glass, copper, and iron.

Full list of materials needed for the huge building:

Materials needed for 2F: 25 concrete, 10 glass, 5 Pokemetal, and 5 iron ingots.

Materials needed for 3F: 25 concrete, 10 glass, 10 glowing stone, and 15 copper ingots.

Materials needed for 4F: 40 concrete, 15 glass, 10 paper, 10 bricks, and 20 lumber.

You want to get started with the first section of the build right away. This requires about an hour of real time to complete. This build is pretty straightforward. Just place the building materials and assign Pokemon to help.

Now you can make sure you have all the materials ready for 3F while you wait. The build for 3F will also require that you bring Chef Dente from Rocky Ridges to the Skyland building. Just ask Chef Dente to follow you there. This level will also take an hour of real time to complete.

Lastly, you’ll need Peakychu to help with the final floor. Head to Bleak Beach and ask Peakychu to follow you to Sparkling Skylands. Add the required building supplies and assign Pokemon to help with the build to finish the restoration of the huge building. This final floor will take another hour to complete. Speak to Tinkamaster when complete.

There is an additional story moment after the build is complete, but we won’t spoil it for you. Just speak with the Pokemon as you are requested to. This will complete the “Rebuild the huge building” questline for Sparkling Skylands. Now you can carry on with additional requests here, such as rebuilding the Pokemon Center, completing specific Pokemon requests, and raising comfort levels.
