They describe the build as utilizing a layer of Technic “to provide sturdiness to the model while also allowing a large degree of movement for increased playability.” Despite the top-heavy, small-footed design of Astro Bot requiring a stand for him to be displayed upright, his increased range of motion does give players the opportunity to pose the LEGO Astro Bot in a variety of ways that “emphasize his personality.” Players can recognize familiar details on the LEGO version of Astro Bot, from his bright blue eyes and adorable antenna to his multijointed hands and pointed feet.
