Another Free PS Plus Game for April 2026 Has Been Leaked

Last week, a trusted industry insider revealed one of the expected three titles for April 2026’s PlayStation Plus lineup. Now, with an official announcement expected to take place this week, that same source has claimed that Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream will be joining Lords of the Fallen as part of next month’s batch of free games, which will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

While the list of free PS Plus games continues to grow, those subscribed to the service’s Extra or Premium tiers will have to say goodbye to at least two titles from the game catalogue in April, and that number is only expected to grow. At the time of writing, Sony has confirmed that both EA Sports PGA Tour and Lost Records: Bloom and Rage (Tape 1 and 2) are leaving PS Plus next month. The good news is that they will be replaced by some new additions on April 21, but exactly which new games will be rotated into the service has yet to be confirmed.

25 Best PS Plus Extra Games You Should Be Playing Right Now (March 2026)

From big exclusives to overlooked gems, here are the top PlayStation Plus games you should download next on your PS5.

All Leaked Free PS Plus Games for April 2026

  • Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream
  • Lords of the Fallen

Last week, insider Billbil-kun, who has been accurately leaking new PlayStation Plus titles for many years now, claimed that Lords of the Fallen will be one of the free games coming to PS Plus in April 2026. Now, in an updated article on Dealabs, the insider has stated that Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream will be the second title added to the service. An official announcement is expected to take place on Wednesday, April 1, with the two games set to join the service on the first Tuesday of the month, which will be April 7. Based on past months, there will likely be a third free game as part of the PS Plus Essential line-up, but it has yet to be leaked at the time of writing.

If Billbil-kun is once again correct, this means PS Plus subscribers will have two RPGs to sink their teeth into next month. While Lords of the Fallen is a dark, third-person action RPG with Soulslike combat, Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream is a multiplayer action RPG with hack-and-slash combat. Players can either jump in solo or with up to 20 other players online, with over 20 different characters from the popular anime to choose from, each of which has their own unique roles. Fractured Daydream comes with three main modes: a single-player story experience, co-op quests, and boss raids with large-scale multiplayer battles.

It’s possible that two additional games may also be available in April, alongside Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream and Lords of the Fallen. If that’s the case, Sony will likely be aiming for two very different titles, as next month now has two RPG games included in the line-up (albeit very different styles). Last month’s batch of free PS Plus games, which can still be claimed up until April 7, were Monster Hunter Rise, PGA Tour 2K25, Slime Rancher 2, and The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road.

While the leaked titles will be available to all three tiers of PlayStation Plus, those subscribed to either the Extra or Premium tiers will have even more games to check out when the game catalogue is updated in April. March once again saw some big additions to the catalogue, as Sony added Astroneer, Blasphemous 2, Madden NFL 26, Metal Eden, Persona 5 Royal, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Unlike the monthly Essential games, these titles will not be available to keep forever, as Sony rotates new games in and out each month. So, anybody who wants to check out any of the aforementioned games should do so as soon as possible.
