ARC Raiders Expedition Project Stage 3 is ready to go, and players might be struggling to find the required mats to reset their characters and earn a lot of persistent rewards (including one of the coolest costumes that evolves with every expedition). If you’re a gilded veteran and are ready to set out on your third reset journey, or if you’re a newcomer and are a bit lost as to what to do, this guide is for you. Check all the required mats for the expedition steps below. Includes precise instructions on how to find every mat for the Third Expedition in ARC Raiders.
All Expedition 3 Steps in ARC Raiders
The following is a list of all expedition 3 steps, including every material needed to finish them, and details on the fastest way to get those materials. If you’re running short on time and the expedition window is approaching, then follow these steps to complete it without a hitch.
Players have up to April 28, 2026, to fulfill the requirements for the expedition. The Pity-System to compensate for missing Skill points during past expeditions is active, so remember to fill up your Stash and collect tons of Raider coins to get the full extent of Skills points (Up to 10) during this expedition. Players who complete the third expedition will now have a total of 15 Extra Skill points to use from level 1.
Step 1 – Foundation
Most of the mats required for step 1 of Expedition 3 in ARC Raiders are really easy to obtain. Farming probes or lesser ARC enemies will result in having a decent amount of ARC Alloy to complete the first and third entry. Chemicals can be obtained all around the maps, but going back to Scrappy after every match will also result in a decent amount of these mats being passively accumulated in your stash.

Where to find |
|---|---|
|
Metal Parts (150) |
Scrappy, Recycling ARC Alloy |
|
Chemicals (100) |
Scrappy, Recycling Crude Explosives |
|
ARC Alloy (80) |
All ARC Enemies or Probes/Couriers |
|
Steel Spring (15) |
Farm Around The Water Towers or Hydroponic Dome Complex in Dam Battlegrounds |
Steel Springs are easy to farm out in the open, since they often appear over Red toolboxes or near lockers in Industrial POIs. The Hydroponic Dome Complex or Water Towers in Dam Battlegrounds have plenty of these lying around.
Medical Merchandise Quest Guide in Arc Raiders
Here’s where players can acquire the medical merchandise for Lance in Arc Raiders.
Step 2 – Core System
Durable Cloth can be obtained faster by refining Fabric in the Workshop. Wires are obtained faster by farming them from the Power Generation Complex, and by recycling the Power Cables found there in computers, panels, and machinery.

Materials |
Where to find |
|---|---|
|
Durable Cloth (30) |
Claim Fabric from Scrappy, then Create Durable Cloth with the Refiner |
|
Wires (25) |
Farm Power Cables in the Power Generation Complex in Dam Battlegrounds, Recycle |
|
Electrical Components (20) |
Can be fabricated in the Refiner with Rubber Parts and Metal Parts |
|
Industrial Charger (3) |
Farm Around the Power Generation Complex or Hydroponic Dome Complex in the Dam Battlegrounds |
Electrical Components can also be found there, alongside Wires, but players might be able to get the needed amount faster by refining them in the workshop. Industrial Chargers are abundant in the Hydroponic Dome Complex breachable containers or Red Lockers.
Step 3 – Framework
Coffee Pots are found in most Residential POIs, but if players want a sure-hit place to look for them, try the desk on the Field Depot outside the Hospital in Buried City. For some reason, there’s always a Coffee Pot there. Batteries can be farmed faster from Stella Montis’ Assembly line and most of the lateral hallways leading from the Medical Bay to the Seed Vault. Just watch out for other Raiders, since this is a map preferred by PvP players.

Materials |
Where to find |
|---|---|
|
Coffee Pot (1) |
Find these on Ruby Residence in Dam Battlegrounds |
|
Battery (25) |
Farm them in Stella Montis, Assembly Line |
|
Firefly Burners (5) |
Found by defeating Fireflies – Players need to shoot the canister in the middle of the body. |
|
Exodus Modules (1) |
Found all around Stella Montis |
On that note, while looking around for Batteries, players can find one or two Exodus Modules by opening the blue suitcases lying on the floors or checking the tool carts around Stella Montis.
Firefly Burners are a different tale to tell. These annoying flame-spitting enemies can only be found outside, but are terribly dangerous to face since they’re heavily armored and can only be taken down with a precision shot on the yellow canister between the belly and the flamethrower. Use a Hullcracker instead; it works like a charm.
Step 4 – Outfitting
For the Broken Guidance System, most Industrial POIs on the Dam Battlegrounds have these hidden inside containers. But the Red Lockers in the Hydroponic Dome Complex are the containers with more chances to have some. So try there first.
And if players want to try their luck, the machinery in the Dome Complex also yields Advanced Electrical Components from time to time, so it is worth a shot looking there.
|
Materials |
Where to find |
|---|---|
|
Broken Guidance System (1) |
Farm them in the Red Lockers in Hydroponic Dome Complex, Dam Battlegrounds |
|
Advanced Electrical Components (5) |
Use the Refiner to create them, using Wires and Electrical Components |
|
Breathtaking Snow Globes (3) |
Found looting the Green Lockers in the Library, in Buried City (more chances during the Hurricane Map Condition) |
|
Bombardier Cell (2) |
Found by looting a defeated Bombardier. Use a Hullcracker or Trailblazer Grenades to beat it faster. |
For the Breathtaking Snow Globes, enter the Buried City during Hurricane or Cold Snap map conditions, then loot the Green Lockers inside the Library. After that, loot the desks and Green Lockers in the Space Travel building, just across the Parking Garage.
After that, turn around and look for the top floor of the Parking Garage: There’s an easy Bombardier roaming there. It can be cheesed by throwing it Lure Grenades from the breachable door of the Parking Garage elevator, then filling it up with grenades or even a Deadline.
Step 5 – Load Stage
After all that hard-working farming, comes the real deal: Donating tons of valuable items to fill up the Expedition Pod storage. Here, players have more freedom of choice since they can basically drain all their hoard and put it to use for each of the required categories.
Remember to discard only useless items and those you’re sure you won’t be needing until the expedition window opens (on April 28, 2026). Prioritize discarding broken weapons and those without critical Mods. You can always craft some with your spare mats.
|
Materials |
Where to find |
|---|---|
|
200000 Coin worth of Combat Items |
Donate weapons, smoke grenades, and most ammo. It is faster to farm POIs with Keys and get Combat Items from there. |
|
100000 Coin worth of Survival Items |
Shields, Healing Items, Bandages. Really easy to farm. Players can farm Great Mullein and Fabric, and craft lots of Herbal Bandages to fill up the requirements. |
|
150000 Coin worth of Provisions |
Donate all the Seeds from Scrappy. Then go to Dam Battlegrounds and farm the Pale Apartments or Ruby Residence to get lots of ‘Treasure’ (Rosary, Music Boxes, Film Reels). |
|
300000 Coin worth of Materials |
The easiest and fastest way is to donate the most useless materials. But players can also try farming Bastion Cells or Bombardier Cells to fill this up really fast. |
Provisions are the most complex (or annoying) to farm. You can raid the Seed Vault on Stella Montis for around 200 to 250 Seeds per run, which translates to 25000 worth on Provisions. Or, you can loot Valuables around the Residential POIs in Dam Battlegrounds. That’s up to players.
Survival Items are the easiest. The coin threshold is the lowest, and during certain Map Conditions, looting medical bags will fill your stock in no time. After that, ARC Raiders players will be able to set course for their Third Expedition.
