ARC Raiders Teases New Map Coming Soon

Developer Embark Studios has revealed the first official teaser for the next ARC Raiders map, which will release later this month as part of the game’s Riven Tides update. A new email sent to players includes the first official images of the new ARC Raiders map, as well as a few lines of text that tease its arrival in a couple of weeks’ time.

After a hugely successful launch in late 2025, Embark Studios kicked off the new year by revealing the official 2026 roadmap for ARC Raiders. The first major content update included in the roadmap was Headwinds, which arrived in late January and added a controversial new 1v3 matchmaking option, a new map condition for Buried City, and more. Then, in February, the studio launched Shrouded Sky. The second patch brought about even more content to the shooter, including a new Hurricane map condition, a new location on Dam Battlegrounds, new ARC enemies, and more. Then, just a few weeks ago, Flashpoint arrived, with another deadly map condition, another ARC enemy, and some new features for Scrappy.

Embark Teases New ARC Raiders Map

Out of the four major content updates revealed in the roadmap, three are available right now, and the fourth is just a couple of weeks away. Although Embark has yet to confirm the release date for Riven Tides, it is speculated to be released on Tuesday, April 28, as this aligns with previous updates. Now it appears as though the first teasers for the update have officially arrived, as players have begun receiving emails from Embark with the first two images from the next ARC Raiders map, which can be seen above.

Initially, some believed that the game’s next map would take place around an erupting volcano. But recent theories and in-game teasers have suggested that it will actually be a coastal map. The first teaser still doesn’t confirm the map’s location, but it does give players a look at what appears to be a hotel named Panorama Azurro. Uncovered concept art of a coastline map, which many speculate will be the one released in Riven Tides, shows a new stunning landscape for Raiders to visit, with some serious verticality, plenty of flooded areas, and much more.

As for what else fans can expect with ARC Raiders‘ big April update, the roadmap states that Embark is also gearing up to add another new large ARC enemy, which will presumably be similar to the Queen and Matriarch. Shortly after the launch of Shrouded Sky, players discovered mysterious and very large UFO soaring through the skies of ARC Raiders, which some believe could be the new large ARC enemy being added in Riven Tides. Again, this has yet to be confirmed, but there will likely be some fresh teasers on the way as we get closer and closer to the update’s release.

Finally, those who are looking to once again reset their progress and wipe their Raider will be pleased to know that ARC Raiders‘ third Expedition will also take place on April 28. Players can start building their Caravan right now, which requires tons of materials, and they can then depart the Rust Belt later this month and start fresh with some additional benefits and in-game rewards. Embark changed the rewards available in the second Expedition and will likely make further alterations for the third optional wipe this month, but specific details remain unknown.
