Borderlands 4 fans are set to see a ton of new content drop in September with Bounty Pack 5 as well as the second story pack, but for those who want a deep look at the next playable Vault Hunter, they’ll want to tune in on September 3. As Borderlands 4 approaches its first anniversary, Gearbox has a lot of new content planned for fans, recently showcasing what fans can expect and highlighting another special dev stream event happening in a few weeks.
It hasn’t always been a smooth ride for Borderlands 4 over the past year, with a rougher-than-expected launch on PC, which lingered much longer than players had hoped. Even alongside other controversies, the team at Gearbox has tried to balance the bad with some good, releasing Bounty Pack 1 for free to all players, and launching even more events and content over the past few months as well. Gearbox is planning to launch the final few pieces of Borderlands 4‘s announced DLC roadmap in September, with a special event that fans will want to take note of.
Loveless The Hacker Reveal Stream Details
Following the reveal of Bounty Pack 5 as well as Fl4k and the Last Resort story content, Gearbox is also planning a deep dive into the second playable DLC character known as Loveless the Hacker. While not a complete surprise thanks to an April 2026 datamine of Borderlands 4‘s files, Loveless will be featured on September 3 in the next Gearbox DevCast, giving fans a look at what she can do in terms of gameplay and her skills. Not much is known outside the fact that Loveless is an ex-Anshin hacker turned assassin featuring a kit that has cybernetic-style weapons and a digital worm-like virus that she shares her mind with.

As is the case with previous games in the franchise, like Borderlands 2, Loveless will be the second DLC character to join the roster. As part of Story Pack 1, Borderlands 4 added C4SH to the game, a vault hunter which seemingly carries the traits of past “controlled chaos” style characters like Gaige. As a former casino bot, C4SH has a kit that features playing cards and dice, with skills that focus on random chance, risk, and reward. The unique playstyle helps C4SH standout from the rest of the cast, so fans are naturally hoping that Loveless also offers a unique take on an established archetype.
The new stream details came alongside the reveal of Bounty Pack 5 as well as Story Pack 2. Both content packs are launching on September 10, though both are considered premium content, so players will need to individually purchase them or have either the Super Deluxe Edition or Vault Hunter Pack to gain access. Story Pack 2 centers on Borderlands 3 fan favorite FL4K as the Beastmaster is taking on Tediore after they stole their skag companion Mr. Chew.
Also launching on September 10 is Bounty Pack 5, which puts the Borderlands 3 Siren Amara back in the spotlight. Amara and the Vile Shadows takes players back to the Moon to invade a fortress. Alongside new boss battles and loot, Vault Card 5 will unlock, letting players complete challenges in game to receive special loot and cosmetics related to the content.
