Epic Games Store Officially Reveals Its June 18 Free Games

The Epic Games Store has officially revealed its June 18 free games, which include the critically acclaimed hit Citizen Sleeper. The upcoming giveaway will mark the 35th and 36th titles that Epic Games Store users are able to claim free of charge in 2026.

Citizen Sleeper is a 2022 narrative-driven RPG from solo UK studio Jump Over the Age. It tells a cyberpunk story about an escaped “Sleeper,” a copied human mind placed in an artificial body that is nearing shutdown because of planned obsolescence. The protagonist is also hunted by a corporation that considers them its property. Citizen Sleeper‘s moment-to-moment gameplay draws heavily from tabletop RPGs; players face frequent decisions and even more frequent dice rolls as they scramble to collect and manage resources, complete odd jobs, and help a motley group of characters aboard the decaying space station where the story takes place. With a “Mighty” rating on OpenCritic and a 4.7-star score on the Epic Games Store, Citizen Sleeper is one of the highest-rated indie games of 2022.

Every Free Game Released On The Epic Games Store (June 2026)

Here’s a list of all the games that have been made free on the Epic Games Store. You have until June 18 to get the current free games.

Citizen Sleeper Debuting as Epic Games Store’s Freebie Next Week

The critically acclaimed RPG will soon be free to claim, with the Epic Games Store announcing it as one of the two titles in its June 18 giveaway. The upcoming promotion will also include Robobeat, a rhythm-based first-person roguelite about a bounty hunter pursuing a showboating robot named Frazzer. Neither Citizen Sleeper nor Robobeat has previously been free on the Epic Games Store. Both games will be available to claim from June 18 to 25, with the offer beginning and ending at 8 a.m. PDT / 11 a.m. EDT / 5 p.m. CET.

Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now

The newly announced giveaway marks a return to Epic’s usual weekly format, with the platform offering two sharply contrasting titles. While Citizen Sleeper is a tense, atmospheric RPG that emphasizes careful choices and strategy, Robobeat is a “shoot first, ask questions never” kind of experience. The latter also incorporates parkour and traditional roguelite meta progression, standing in stark contrast with Citizen Sleeper‘s turn-based gameplay that favors role-playing over raw stats.

While waiting for the Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaway to kick off, Epic Games Store users are able to claim Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks and The Ouroboros King. The former is a 2025 title that offers both vehicular combat and Mario Kart-style combat racing, while the latter is a unique turn-based strategy that combines roguelite progression and procedural generation with chess.

Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat typically retail for $19.99 each. Together, they will bring the total value of the Epic Games Store’s June 2026 freebies to $154.92—or $129.94 excluding Calico and Lonestar, whose free-to-claim periods began in late May. The final Epic Games Store free games for the month will be announced on June 18 and be claimable from June 25 to July 2.
