Fortnite Director Responds to Madison Beer’s Requests

The design director of Fortnite officially responded following singer Madison Beer requesting game changes and her own skin. Fortnite, the hit battle royale game from Epic Games, is known for introducing various crossovers with other games, cultural works, and even celebrities. As part of this popular online game, various collaborations are often established for special events and seasonal campaigns. However, some of the crossovers can have a lasting effect on the players’ experience, as exemplified by the introduction of new skins to the game.

Up to this point, many well-known and iconic individuals have had the opportunity to appear as skins in the game. Recently, to mark the release of Fortnite‘s Chapter 7 Season 1, several legendary characters from hit movies have arrived in the battle pass, including The Bride from the Kill Bill films and Marty McFly from the Back to the Future franchise. Whether the new skins are dedicated to fictional characters or real people such as actors and singers, they are a good way to increase the popularity of the game and those depicted in it. It can therefore be observed that more and more celebrities would like to be featured in this particular production from Epic Games.

Fortnite Reveals Its Latest Celebrity Collaboration

Fortnite surprises players by announcing a new celebrity collaboration coming to Epic Games’ popular battle royale in the near future.

Fortnite Director Responded to Madison Beer’s Requests

Recently, Fortnite‘s design director Ted Timmins commented on Madison Beer’s request for her own skin. During her appearance on Hot Ones, the singer shared her thoughts on the game, emphasizing that she loves it, but that developers should “stop changing things that we love.” The pop star referred to the significant changes affecting gameplay introduced by Epic Games with each season, which include completely new themes, features, and weapons. She emphasized her position on this matter by asking for an end to excessive changes and also for letting her appear in the game, saying, “keep it original and give me a skin, please.”

A recording of her statement was included in a post made by Epic Games’ partner HYPEX, in which Fortnite‘s design director was tagged. Ted Timmins wrote in his response that he was surprised to be tagged in this post, but nevertheless, he addressed the singer’s requests. Although the director did not directly address the issue of the requested skin, he suggested that the singer might like the fact that Fortnite‘s Chapter 7 Season 2 will bring back some features “for the OG’s to enjoy.”

Although gamers have not received confirmation of whether Madison Beer will appear as a playable character in Fortnite, they can play as other well-known figures from the world of music. Among those who made their debut in this battle royale production are Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey, Eminem, and The Weeknd, and recently Chappel Roan also joined the Fortnite skin group. Fortnite is responsible for some of the most influential collaborations in the history of online games, attracting not only the gaming community, but also fans of cinema, TV series, and music. Epic Games is thus testing and expanding the battle royale formula by organizing themed competitive events around new skins and introducing projects such as the Fortnite Festival.

Over the years, Fortnite has become an overwhelming success that continues to grow and increase its profits. With an increasing number of crossovers involving major players in the gaming market and the entertainment industry in general, it is confirming its dominance over other titles, although it still needs to offer players something new in order to stay fresh. In January of this year, announcements of significant and often unexpected collaborations appeared on the horizon, such as Fortnite‘s crossover with Honkai Star Rail. Fans of this Epic Games title therefore have the right to expect a lot of interesting combinations and new skins this year.
