With the launch date for Forza Horizon 6 rapidly approaching, Playground Games reveals more details about the exclusive pre-order bonus vehicle, the extremely limited J50 Ferrari. Over the past few weeks, Playground Games has continued to reveal new details about Forza Horizon 6, which takes players to the diverse biomes in Japan. From the mountain peaks, to the coastline, and the neon-soaked streets of Tokyo, players certainly have a variety of roads to drive across.
Although the excitement has continued to build as the release date continues to draw closer, Playground Games has hit a bump in the road just days before the game launches. Unfortunately, Forza Horizon 6 seems to have leaked out early, with dataminers getting unrestricted access to the full game. As expected, Playground Games is taking a very hardline stance against those accessing the leaked game, promising strict action being taken and heavy bans being issued. On a brighter note, Playground has also revealed a unique pre-order bonus for the game.

Forza Horizon 6 Reveals the J50 Ferrari
In a new post, the official Forza Horizon Twitter account gave fans a better look at the pre-order bonus vehicle. With Forza Horizon 6 having gone gold, players now have a small window to pre-order the game and earn the exclusive and pre-tuned J50 Ferrari. Originally built to celebrate Ferrari Japan’s 50th anniversary, this real-world car only saw 10 units built, but what makes the vehicle even more rare is the fact that each individual car was custom-made for each buyer.

Alongside the description, in-engine gameplay footage shows the car in action as it speeds around Forza Horizon 6‘s massive map of Japan. Although the game isn’t out until May 19, some players can get their hands on it a few days earlier on May 15 with the Ultimate Edition version of the game. What isn’t clear is how Xbox Game Pass subscribers get access to the vehicle, since Forza Horizon 6 will be available to download on day one. Perhaps pre-installing the game is all it takes, but at the time of publication, Playground Games hadn’t cleared up the confusion.
Alongside the J50, Playground Games has also given players a look at the vehicles coming inside of Forza Horizon 6‘s Car Pass. A thumbnail for the DLC revealed a handful of cars that are going to be included, such as the Audi R8 GT, Datsun #269 Attacking The Clock Racing 240Z Time Attack, Honda Civic Type R, Honda Civic Type R (FD2), Koenigsegg Gemera,1974 Mazda #123 FURSTY 808 Wagon, and the Nissan #12 CALSONIC Skyline GT-R. However, that’s likely just the tip of the iceberg as players continue to wait for PLayground to provide official details and the complete list of cars being included.

Unfortunately, for Sony fans, they’re going to need to wait a little bit longer to go hands on with the J50. As it was previously announced, Forza Horizon 6 isn’t launching on PlayStation until later in 2026, giving PC and Xbox players timed exclusivity. Despite Forza Horizon 5 being a smash hit on the PS5, the next mainline entry doesn’t even have an official launch date set in stone yet, with just a broad 2026 launch window being announced so far.
