It’s been one year since Nintendo’s sensational simian Donkey Kong hit the Switch 2 with Donkey Kong Bananza. Now that the banana is a little browner and the shine has worn off, its worth asking whether this game was enough of a success to change what it means to be a Donkey Kong game, or if it was just another good entry in Nintendo’s lineup.
