New Game Pass Games For May 2026: Forza Horizon 6, Pigeon Simulator, And More This Month

The second wave of new arrivals to Xbox Game Pass has been announced for May 2026, and following hot on the heels of big releases like Mixtape and Subnautica 2, there’s a lot to look forward to. Here’s the full list of everything being added starting May 19:

Xbox Game Pass May 2026 Games: Wave 2

  • Forza Horizon 6 (May 19)
  • Dead Static Drive (May 20)
  • My Friend Peppa Pig (May 20)
  • Pigeon Simulator (May 20)
  • Remnant 2 (May 20)
  • Winter Burrow (May 20)
  • Luna Abyss (May 21)
  • Escape Simulator (May 26)
  • Echo Generation 2 (May 27)
  • The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition (May 27)
  • Crashout Crew (May 28)
  • Kabuto Park (May 28)
  • Final Fantasy 6 (June 2)
  • Jurassic World Evolution 3 (June 2)

Kicking things off with this month’s new arrivals is Forza Horizon 6. Microsoft’s big racing game franchise is back with a gorgeous tour across Japan, and while there’s nothing truly groundbreaking here, it’s hard to not smile when you’re taking on a Gundam in spectacular showdowns. This marks the global launch of Forza Horizon 6, following its early access release this week.

May 20 will have several games unlocked in the Game Pass vault, starting with the whistling-challenged My Friend Peppa Pig. This time, players can create their very own character and interact with Peppa, as well as several other famous faces from the beloved cartoon series. You can also explore New Squawk City in Pigeon Simulator, joining the top-secret Paranormal Examination and Kontainment unit to take down dangerous anomalies. For some Grand Theft Cthulu fun, check out Dead Static Drive.

Remnant 2 offers loot and deadly beasts, while Winter Burrow is a cozy survival game where you help a little woodland mouse to thrive during a frigid winter. May 21 will see the day-one launch of Luna Abyss, a narrative-driven, first-person action-adventure. Full of bullet-hell peril and platforming stages, you’ll play as Fawkes, a prisoner condemned to explore a lunar megastructure full of lost alien technology and cosmic horror.

Escape Simulator throws you inside of highly interactive escape rooms on May 26, and on May 27, you can grab the day-one release of Echo Generation 2, a sci-fi deckbuilding RPG. The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is the ultimate version of Obsidian Entertainment’s cheeky spacefaring shooter and will be available on the same day. Rounding out the month are two more day-one releases: the chaotic co-op Crashout Crew and the bug-collecting adventure Kabuto Park.

Microsoft has also revealed the first two games for June, as subscribers can download and play Final Fantasy 6 and Jurassic World Evolution 3. Several games will be leaving on May 31, including one of GameSpot’s games of the year, Metaphor ReFantazio.
