New PS Plus Games for June 30 Revealed Ahead of Time

New PS Plus Games for June 30 Revealed Ahead of Time

PlayStation Plus subscribers already know of three games that they will get to play starting Tuesday, June 30. For years, PlayStation Plus stuck to a very specific way of doing things with the Extra and Premium games. Sony would reveal the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games in the middle of the month, and then add them in the following week’s update in one big batch. However, Sony is trying something different when it comes to the PlayStation Plus games for June 2026, for better or worse.

Instead of releasing the new PS Plus games for June 2026 in one single update, Sony has decided to spread them throughout the month. This experiment has not exactly sat well with PlayStation Plus subscribers, as it means arbitrarily waiting for games that they could already have access to. In any case, this rollout has so far included Final Fantasy 16, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure, with three more games set to make their debut on Tuesday, June 30.

PS Plus Monthly Games for July 2026 Wish List

Sony has already revealed one game coming to PS Plus in July 2026, but there’s still plenty of room for new Essential or Extra games to join it.

List of New PS Plus Games Coming Soon

  • Black Desert
  • Blades of Fire
  • Farming Simulator 25

The final three games coming to the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus in June 2026 are Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert. All three games will be added on June 30, and will bring the new PS Plus Extra game additions for June 2026 to a close. For those unfamiliar with the games, Farming Simulator 25 is exactly as its name sounds, while Blades of Fire is a dark fantasy action game that earned somewhat mixed reviews, but could still appeal to fans of the genre. Black Desert, meanwhile, is an MMORPG from Pearl Abyss, the same company behind the smash hit Crimson Desert. It’s unclear how long these games will remain available to PS Plus subscribers, but games are usually available for at least a year, if not longer, before they are pulled from the library.

Next week is going to be an especially busy one for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Beyond the three new additions to the Extra tier of the service, the free PS Plus games for July 2026 are also going to be announced. Unless there’s a change of plans, PS Plus subscribers can count on the free PS Plus games for July 2026 to be revealed on Wednesday, July 1. They will then be added in the next update, Tuesday, July 7, though it’s anyone’s guess as to what they will be.

About a week or so after that, the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for July 2026 will be revealed and then added on Tuesday, July 21. We know that Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy is coming to PS Plus Premium in July, but we don’t know if it will be added alongside a bunch of other games like usual or if it will be spread out thanks to the recent changes Sony has made to the way it adds games to the service.

We do know that July 21 will be a rather brutal day for PS Plus departures, as at least 12 games are leaving PS Plus that day. It’s possible even more games will be leaving PS Plus next month, so subscribers should keep an eye out for more information on that front.
