Mega Clefable will make its Pokemon GO debut on November 28, 2026. In recent months, the game has added more powerful Mega Evolutions through special limited events. Now, Mega Clefable’s release will be one of the last celebrations held during Pokemon GO‘s current Twilight Trails season.
Since the introduction of Super Mega Raids in Pokemon GO, the game has been launching several Mega Pokemon that initially debuted in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. The latest additions were Mega Staraptor in September, followed by Mega Chandelure on Halloween Day. Super Mega Raids are a tougher challenge than standard Mega Raids, but Pokemon GO often offers players extra bonuses on Raid Days to make these battles more rewarding. Soon, yet another Legends: Z-A Mega is making its mobile debut.

Pokemon GO has confirmed a Clefable Super Mega Raid Day for November 28 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. During this period, players will be able to defeat Mega Clefable and add it to their Pokedex. All Clefable caught with this method will have Mega Level 1 unlocked, and players can power the Fairy/Flying-type up to Super Max level. Fans will also have an increased chance to encounter shiny Clefable from Super Mega Raids. Moreover, Mega Clefable will become eligible to have an additional Charged Attack in Pokemon GO. When Mega Evolved, Clefable can use the Fairy-type move Moonblast+, which has a power of 160 in Raids and 80 in Trainer battles, with a chance to decrease an enemy’s Attack by one stage.
For Mega Clefable’s event, Pokemon GO will give players up to six free Raid Passes at Gyms. Additionally, a new Global Challenge will let fans unlock extra rewards for Mega Clefable. The more tiers players complete, the more boosts Moonblast+ will receive from November 30 to December 13. This Global Challenge will run from Friday, November 27 at 5:00 PM to November 28 at 8:00 PM PST. During this time, the Remote Raid limit will increase to 20, letting fans take on as many Super Mega Raids as possible. Fans can also earn an extra free Premium Pass with a limited Timed Research, along with an encounter with Metagross.

With the addition of Mega Clefable, the number of Mega Evolutions available in Pokemon GO will increase to fifty-five. However, there are still plenty of Mega Pokemon that have yet to make their AR debut. Developer Scopely will likely release more Megas before the end of 2026, but Mega Clefable may be the last major debut before Pokemon GO‘s Twilight Trails era wraps up on December 1.
Ahead of Mega Clefable’s launch, players can participate in other major Pokemon GO events scheduled for the month, such as Wild Area 2026 Global, on November 14 and 15. Next, the Legendary Eternatus and almost all Dynamax Pokemon are making a comeback starting November 16. Finally, Pawniard’s Community Day is planned for November 21 with limited evolution bonuses.
