Amazon Prime Gaming unveiled a slate of nine games that PC players can claim throughout August at no additional cost. Additionally, five of the aforementioned Amazon Prime free PC titles are now available for active subscribers to add to their digital collections across multiple storefronts.
As part of the popular Amazon Prime monthly subscription service, users can log into Amazon Luna to claim PC games from a rotating list of titles made by various developers. These games can either be played from the Amazon Games desktop app or via a third-party launcher, such as GOG Galaxy and Epic Games Store. Should users pause their Amazon Prime subscription for any reason, any games that were redeemed beforehand are theirs to keep. In July 2026, Amazon Prime subscribers could claim titles such as Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga and Poly Vita.

As of this writing, five free PC games are now available for Amazon Prime users to download and install via GOG and Epic Games Store. These titles are Hiveswap Friendsim, Right and Down, Pyramids and Aliens: Escape Room, Airship: Kingdoms Adrift, Steelrising, Royal Romances: Forbidden Magic, Spray Paint Simulator, Havendock, and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. The first two titles, Hiveswap Friendsim and Right and Down, can now be claimed via GOG codes. Hiveswap Friendsim is a psychological horror visual novel that was first released in April 2018 by developer What Pumpkin Games. By comparison, Right and Down is a roguelike card game that, true to its name, only allows players to press right and down to make their moves.

Fans of the escape room genre are in luck, as the 2024 title Pyramids and Aliens: Escape Room is now available via a GOG game code. Prime users who connect their Amazon and Epic Games Store accounts can also claim Airship: Kingdoms Adrift and Steelrising. While Airship: Kingdoms Adrift is a tactical sandbox game that takes players to the skies, Steelrising is a gritty soulslike RPG set during an alternate timeline where the French Revolution was quickly suppressed.
The latter half of August will see the remaining four Amazon Prime freebies of the month become available in pairs. Starting August 20, the puzzle game Royal Romances: Forbidden Magic will become available, while Spray Paint Simulator can be redeemed for the Amazon Games app. Finally, August 27 will see the arrival of the life simulator Havendock and the melee-focused action game Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Havendock will be accessible via the Amazon Games app, while Clash: Artifacts of Chaos requires a connection to the Epic Games Store. In short, August’s Prime Gaming rotation has an eclectic mix of indie games across multiple genres for players to try out with their Amazon Prime subscription.
Along with the monthly slate of free PC games to claim, Amazon Prime subscribers can use Amazon Luna Standard to stream Bluey: The Videogame, Disney/Pixar Brave: The Video Game, and Disney/Pixar: WALL-E. Starting later in August, Assassin’s Creed fans will have a reason to use Amazon Luna, as both Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available on Amazon Luna.
