Some Nintendo Switch Users Can Claim Up to 6 Free Games in May 2026

Switch users in the Nintendo America region who own any No Gravity Games titles can claim up to six free games from May 19 to May 24. The campaign is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch and will offer a new mystery game each day.

Mystery game promotions are often associated with things like the Epic Games Store giveaways. Similar offers on the Nintendo consoles are relatively rare. However, No Gravity Games has long been active in this space, running multiple free-to-claim campaigns on Switch, most notably its 2025 Switchmas event at the end of that year. Now, the developer has launched the “Pixel Chaos” promotion that could see players get up to six free Nintendo Switch games at no cost.

Nintendo Switch is Getting the Perfect Pokemon Replacement on May 26

Nintendo Switch gamers that need something to tide them over while they wait for Pokemon Winds and Waves should circle May 26 on their calendars.

No Gravity Games’ ‘Pixel Chaos Giveaway’ Explained

  • May 19, 2026 – Claim Strike Force Kitty for Free
  • May 20, 2026 – Mystery game
  • May 21, 2026 – Mystery game
  • May 22, 2026 – Mystery game
  • May 23, 2026 – Mystery game
  • May 24, 2026 – Mystery game

Starting on May 19, 2026, Nintendo Switch users in the region of America can claim up to six retro-style games from indie developer No Gravity Games. The promotion runs until May 24 and offers one surprise title each day, for a total of six games. The catch is that participants must already own at least one game from the developer’s fairly extensive Nintendo Switch catalog to qualify. According to No Gravity Games, “On the selected days, one title will be revealed and will have 100% off Owner Discount. If you have all the previous games from the lineup, you’ll be able to grab it for free.”

The campaign specifies that users must already own a No Gravity title before it begins, so buying a game from the developer after May 19 won’t make an account eligible for the promotion.

Pixel Chaos Giveaway Prerequisites

  • A Nintendo Switch account that’s based in America
  • No parental controls on the account
  • Owning at least one game from No Gravity Games’ Nintendo Switch portfolio
  • Claiming all the daily free games without missing any of them

If a user misses one of the indie Nintendo Switch games in the chain, they can buy it to continue claiming the rest of the lineup. No Gravity Games titles range from $2 to $25, but the developer will discount the games included in the campaign, so replacing a missing one will not cost the full price.

The first game available to claim as part of the Pixel Chaos campaign is Strike Force Kitty. Starting on May 19, fans have 24 hours to claim the charming platformer. In Strike Force Kitty, players build squads of cats, customize them with unique outfits, and assemble different teams. According to the developer, “Each level in Strike Force Kitty is about finding the optimal path. With new abilities, [players can] discover new ways of completing the level, finding rarer costumes along the way.”

Fans of retro games may also be interested to know that the Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics app recently added five new games: Jack Bros., V-Tetris, Space Invaders Virtual Collection, Virtual Bowling, and Vertical Force. However, it is important to remember that playing these classic gems requires a Nintendo Online subscription with the Expansion Pack.
