Until September 1, Steam users are able to claim free Keys for 8 total games—headlined by a 9/10 hit JRPG from a beloved franchise—with a specific online membership. While that’s plenty of time to snatch these games up, Steam users should still act quickly and grab them before the month of August just quickly fades by.

The Humble Choice membership offers Steam users a great selection of free games every month, rotating out on the first Tuesday of every month, as an added benefit. These games are “free with membership,” as the main appeal of Humble Choice is access to its entire Vault of games, special membership deals on brand-new games, other benefits like IGN Plus, and more positives like contributions to charity. As such, it’s a great deal in its own right that saves PC gamers money every month with its Sam’s Club-like membership, and that membership comes with free perks in the form of games to boot.

Free Humble Choice Game List for August 2026

Headlining the Humble Choice Games for August 2026 is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the latest mainline entry in the beloved JRPG franchise featuring both Kazuma Kiryu and Ichiban Kasuga. Anyone who hasn’t played it before won’t find it cheaper than free, and it’s probably one of the best free Humble Choice games in recent memory. Joining it this month: Dead Cells (and its Bad Seed DLC), the Ultimate Edition of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Decktamer, Conquest Dark, Gatekeeper, Pile Up!, and Dark Envoy: Director’s Cut.

All keys must be redeemed before March 1, 2027.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a Great Headliner for a Free Steam Game Bundle

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has a built-in story recap for anyone who hasn’t played the previous Yakuza/Like a Dragon games, but it’s worth noting that everything hits much harder and is much more poignant if fans have played previous games in the franchise. For those unfamiliar, though, it is a massive open-world JRPG that sends longtime series hero Kiryu and “new” protagonist Ichiban to Hawaii for the franchise’s biggest adventure to date. Mixing the series’ over-the-top humor with emotional storytelling, players explore bustling city streets, tackle a deep turn-based combat system, take on dozens of bizarre side activities, and uncover a conspiracy that ties directly into Ichiban’s search for his mother.

As GameRant wrote in its 9/10 Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth review, it “has a knack for keeping a player’s interest” and uses the brand’s zaniness “in such masterful and fun ways that most players won’t be able to help themselves from smiling and laughing along with Ichiban Kasuga and the rest of the cast in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.”

This version also includes The Bad Seed DLC, adding two new biomes, fresh enemies, and challenging bosses to make every run even tougher
  • TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge—A modern take on the classic arcade beat ’em up, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge combines fast-paced co-op action with the look and feel of the beloved 1987 cartoon. It’s best when played with a close friend, especially when it comes to enjoying all the over-the-top builds.
  • Pile Up!Pile Up! puts vertical city-building gameplay center stage, where expanding upward is just as important as outward. As players manage a growing population, they can enjoy plenty of experimental gameplay across multiple islands, building types, and so forth.
  • Dark Envoy: Director’s Cut—Set in a war-torn fantasy world, Dark Envoy is a tactical party-based CRPG with 12 class archetypes, flexible progression, and a focus on party composition across its story and gameplay.
