Steam users can currently claim free keys for eight great games, but only with access to an online membership. Until October 6, gamers on Steam can take advantage of this offer and add these titles to their libraries, the biggest of which is a popular 2024 survival strategy game.
The Humble Choice monthly subscription gives members a selection of PC games to redeem for their gaming libraries, with refreshes coming on the first Tuesday of every single month. Users can cancel at any time and jump back in when the monthly games interest them. Last month, Humble Choice featured Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth as its headline game, showcasing the kind of titles it has given away in the past.

Survival strategy game Frostpunk 2 headlines the Humble Choice Games for September 2026. The popular sequel garnered a Top Critic Average of 85 on review aggregator OpenCritic upon its release in 2024, and Humble Choice members can grab a key right now for free. Sonic X Shadow Generations is also a big hitter in this bundle – another 2024 title that has never been lower than $14.99 individually on Steam. Not every Humble Choice bundle is a winner, but this one is certainly a great offering.

Notably, every single game on the list has at least “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam, with some even venturing into “Very Positive” territory. Given that Humble Choice members have until April 6, 2027, to redeem these keys for free, they’re well worth trying out for fans of their respective genres.
Keys not redeemed before April 6, 2027 will expire.
Those signed up to the Humble Choice membership get more than just free games every month – members save up to 20% on the Humble Store, even on new game releases, which can result in some big savings over time. Ultimately, though, it’s the free game keys with the membership that are the biggest selling point, and understandably so.
Gamers have no shortage of free games on PC to claim at any given time. There is definitely a sentiment that PC gaming can be expensive at times, but users who are willing to play across multiple storefronts always have something to grab and enjoy for free.
