Steam users have a chance to claim and keep the acclaimed co-op puzzle game Pico Park: Classic Edition before it is removed from the store. Developed by Tecopark, Pico Park was originally released in 2016 and has maintained a cult following among fans of cooperative party games ever since. However, the game’s classic edition is set to leave Steam, giving players a limited window to add it to their libraries.
Fans should note that Pico Park is not part of Steam’s usual free-to-keep promotions. In fact, the situation is quite the opposite. While some paid games on Steam are occasionally offered for free for a limited time, Pico Park: Classic Edition is already a free-to-play title, but it is set to be removed from Valve’s storefront in the near future.

In October 2025, developer Tecopark announced that the classic version of Pico Park would become a free-to-play game on Steam. However, the studio has since reversed that decision, stating, “After carefully considering how to continue the Pico Park series moving forward, we’ve decided to discontinue this free version.” That said, players who claim and download the game before it is delisted will be able to keep it in their libraries.
For now, it remains unclear exactly when the game will lose its free-to-play status. Fans are therefore encouraged to claim it as soon as possible, as the delisting could happen at any point.

Pico Park is a challenging co-op puzzle game that supports up to 10 players. Developer Tecopark has also released a mobile app called TecoGamePad for iOS and Android that lets players use their smartphones as additional controllers. Pico Park features 22 levels, most of which require players to work together to overcome obstacles, unlock blocked paths, and reach the finish line without losing any teammates along the way.
The paid version of the game costs around $5 USD, while fans can also pick up its sequel, Pico Park 2, for roughly $9 USD. What makes the Classic Edition unique is the visual overhaul it received in 2025, which improved the look and feel of the retro-style co-op game. The update also introduced online co-op support, allowing players to team up and play together from different devices. It is also worth noting that Pico Park: Classic Edition currently holds a Very Positive user rating on Steam, with more than 80% of reviewers recommending the game to others.
Fans of retro-inspired games are in luck, as Pico Park is not the only title currently available for free on Steam. Until June 14, Steam users can also claim Gravity Circuit at no cost. While it is a single-player game, Gravity Circuit delivers the same sense of nostalgia as Pico Park. PC players with an Epic Games account also have more freebies to look forward to. On June 4, the Epic Games Store will reveal its latest weekly free games, which users can claim and keep permanently once added to their libraries.
