Thanks to an ongoing Lenovo Legion Gaming Community giveaway, Steam users can still claim the cozy management game Train Valley 2 for free. Although the giveaway was originally expected to end in early June, Lenovo has extended it and will continue distributing Steam keys until supplies run out.
Fans should note that this promotion is different from Steam’s free-to-keep offers. The Lenovo Legion Gaming Community runs its own giveaways independently of Steam, with keys distributed through its partner, Gamesplanet. To participate in the current Train Valley 2 giveaway, players must have verified free accounts on Steam, Twitch, and Lenovo’s official website.

Train Valley 2 is a cozy management game with light puzzle elements. Players take control of a railway company and expand its network across multiple eras, from the early days of locomotives to a futuristic age. The objective is not only to build efficient rail routes but also to upgrade them and use them to fulfill various missions and delivery requests. Train Valley 2 also includes thousands of fan-made levels, giving train enthusiasts and fans of tycoon-style games plenty of content and making it a highly replayable experience.
On Steam, Train Valley 2 holds a “Very Positive” rating, with 90% of more than 2,200 user reviews recommending the game. Originally released in 2019 by a team of indie developers, the title has received several major updates over the years that have improved performance and introduced new content. The developers have also continued to support the game by curating the best fan-made creations, refining them, and releasing them as official DLC.
Those unable to claim Train Valley 2 through the Lenovo promotion have until June 18 to grab it on Steam with an 88% discount, reducing its price to under $2 USD.
Lucky for PC users, Train Valley 2 is not the only free game available right now. Until June 23, players can sign up for Ubisoft’s limited-time promotion offering Assassin’s Creed Shadows as part of a free-to-play event. There is also the award-winning narrative-driven game Tell Me Why, which will remain free to claim and keep on Steam until the end of June.
