Steam Users Have Until April 23 to Get 2021 Dungeon Management Game Completely Free of Charge

Steam Users Have Until April 23 to Get 2021 Dungeon Management Game Completely Free of Charge

If you’ve ever wanted to run and manage your own dungeon, then Steam has a free game for you, Legend of Keeper: Career of a Dungeon Manager. As part of Steam’s Free-to-Keep promotion, there are no extra steps—players just need to add it to their library ahead of the cutoff date and time of April 23, at 10 am PT/1 pm ET.

Steam’s Free-to-Keep promotion is easily one of the best deals on the internet. While external Steam free games sometimes have several steps involved, Steam’s giveaways are as simple as buying a game on Steam. These are just absolutely free. Typically, 2–3 games appear as part of the promotion per week, so Steam users should be sure to keep an ear out for these updates.

If you love Helldivers 2’s comedic tone, automation games, or, hopefully, both, then Pax Autocratica belongs on your wish list.

Get Legend of Keeper: Career of a Dungeon Manager for Free on Steam

The latest is Legend of Keeper: Career of a Dungeon Manager, a roguelike dungeon management game with turn-based gameplay. Its premise is simple: players are hired to manage a dungeon by the Dungeons company. As players prove their worth (by defeating heroes, who else?), they climb the corporate ladder and claim new rewards. Players can hire monsters, manage employees, and take stock of tracks, while also dealing with employee strikes in this dungeon. There is a dungeon phase, where players face off with and defend against adventures, and then it switches to the management phase. Players then do another run, which is what makes it one of many roguelike games on Steam.

76% of reviews on Steam are positive, earning it a Mostly Positive marker on the platform. For the most part, it seems players praise the premise, the vibe, the gameplay, and the overall concept. Some players dislike the execution thereof, although it would be more accurate to say reviews are split on that. Either way, it’s a free game on Steam as long as players claim it before 10 am PT/1 pm ET on April 23, so it’s hard to complain.

Steam users can also claim two other games for free, whether they dig Legend of Keeper or not. Uncanny Tales: Cold Road and Stickman Killing Zombie are both completely free of charge on Steam right now. Uncanny Tales is an episodic horror series (with mixed reviews), and Cold Road is the first episode where players crash on an isolated road in a snowstorm. Luckily, they find an old house nearby where they are welcomed by an elderly woman, and everything seems better until it isn’t—a classic premise for a horror game story.

Meanwhile, Stickman Killing Zombie is everything it says in the title. Like a classic Flash game, players take on the role of a stick figure and fight to survive. It’s set in Detroit, apparently, and there are missions to complete, but it’s mostly a mindless zombie-killing game. There’s nothing wrong with that. Both Uncanny Tales and Stickman Killing Zombie are cheap as is, with no free promotion, but if players are interested, they are free now until the expiration dates indicated above.
