A few months ago, Nintendo announced that it would make screenshots from Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream really difficult to share. That apparently hasn’t stopped players from using workarounds or just taking pictures of their Switches, so just a day after the game’s release, social media is now flooded with so many screenshots that going on Twitter and seeing what players have made is almost as entertaining as playing the game itself.
As someone who’s put an absurd number of hours into both playing the game and seeing what other people have done with it online, I’ve found quite a few gems. Here are some of the funniest interactions between players’ Miis (and occasionally their weird customized objects) I’ve found.
Walter White and Jesse Pinkman bonding over…hobbies
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream has literally no filter, which rocks. Now we can get videos of Mii Walter White (who studies “the cooking meth rule book every night before bed”) and Jesse Pinkman bonding over their shared love of cooking meth.

Giant cigarettes
Players have been hard at work creating custom items for their Miis to own (and a lot of them have been cigarette-related). Amusingly, these items players go through the effort to create are apparently treated as more important to the characters they’re associated with than pre-existing items in the game, meaning they’re more likely to show up in dreams, news reports, and other cutscenes like this one.

Giant relationships
I’ve adored seeing fans post their Miis’ weird relationships, but none has been quite as good as this one-sided crush that a very well-drawn Godzilla has on Neon Genesis Evangelion’s Eva Unit 01.

Speaking of weird relationships…
Here’s Hank Hill falling in love with creepypasta icon Jeff the Killer.
Strange pets
Players have also been excited to give their Miis weird little pets, which, more often than not, are not actually animals. I love Kris from Deltarune’s unsettling (and eerily accurate) reaction to receiving a soul here.

Awful island designers
Miis have been bugging me to put island decorations in the worst spots ever, and apparently, I’m not alone. Mine have been bugging me to fill the island’s beach with streetlights, while this person’s Miis apparently went the vending machine route. What a beautiful place for two vending machines, I guess!
Random encounters
I’m a big fan of the fact that the game lets players fully customize Miis, which leads to previously impossible Miis like Zigzagoon and a Dragon Quest Slime (at home in his natural habitat) sharing their love of random encounters. (You have to be signed into Bluesky to see this interaction play out, but it’s worth it.)
These attorneys can dance!
Sometimes, nothing is more entertaining than seeing the Ace Attorney himself, Phoenix Wright, break out some sick moves while rival Miles Edgeworth practices pirouettes behind him.

Cloud and Sephiroth’s aggressive see-saw session
I’ve also had a blast just sitting back and watching Miis interact with the objects placed around the island. This player’s Final Fantasy VII Cloud and Sephiroth Miis apparently have some unfinished business that only a sweaty see-saw exchange can resolve.
