Some select individuals will soon be diving into FromSoftware’s upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods, but it seems to have led to a leak of its character classes. As the servers prep for this influx of characters, detailed information about every character in The Duskbloods (as well as their corresponding classes, almost like a hero shooter x Soulslike hybrid) has appeared online.
Those looking to play the Closed Network Test for The Duskbloods, which takes place from August 21 to August 23, should know sign-ups have already ended. The folks that got in almost certainly know by now and have a hopefully fun weekend ahead of them. Depending on how the test goes, perhaps FromSoftware will also reveal a proper release date for the upcoming Switch 2 exclusive soon (as it is still said to release this year).

Regardless, fans get their first look at the 14 available character classes (as first reported by Vice), all of which sound appropriately daunting and befitting of the world seen in The Duskbloods. The Duskbloods‘ roster is basically a collection of walking nightmares, with every character built around some grotesque relationship with blood. Walter, known as Blood-Eater, is the last survivor of a clan of rare-blood hunters and has driven himself mad by using his sense of smell to track the hidden weaknesses in people’s pasts.
Find the odd one out before the timer hits zero.
Gillian, the Guillotine, is a mutated executioner carrying an enormous blade while searching for the Blood of the Beginning. Then there is Veronica, a blind nun whose self-inflicted wounds spread blood blisters and leave behind footprints capable of instantly rotting anything they touch. Sebastian, a fanatic saint covered in silver nails, turns his own blood into fuel for temporary bursts of overwhelming strength (although there is very little left of his mind or body to save).
If those classes make anyone queasy, it might be time to tap out because the rest of this roster of Duskbloods characters does not get any better. Maurice carries his dead family inside an iron coffin and feeds them the blood he drains from enemies, while Oscar is a deranged taxidermist who stitches stolen flesh onto his own body until he begins transforming into an ancient beast. Ulan leaves a poisonous blood swamp wherever she runs, befitting developer FromSoftware’s love of poison swamps. Meanwhile, Isabel uses living shadows to trap and drain blood, and Randolph combines a massive spear with a mechanized body and a flying apparatus to tear through enemies.

Yuri can make someone’s blood pressure rise simply by staring at them, Camilla weaponizes blood mixed with the ashes of her destroyed clan, and Baldur turns bloody prayers into attacks after filling his mouth with scrap metal and needles. Elsa can transform into poisonous blood-mud to avoid attacks and infect enemies from within, while the mysterious Nameless Shadow is an incomplete mass of flesh capable of copying the techniques of every bloodline. Basically, if there is a more unsettling way to weaponize blood, this new vampire game roster seems determined to find it.
