Z-A Update is Out Now

Nintendo and Game Freak release version 2.0.0 for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, addressing issues while ushering in the Mega Dimension DLC for fans who have purchased the premium content. Even though Pokemon Legends: Z-A only just launched back on October 16, Nintendo is releasing the first major DLC pack for the game known as Mega Dimensions. For those who are looking for more content to dig into, this expansion should keep players busy with a variety of new creatures to capture.

Nintendo has continued to reveal new details regarding its Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A including showing off many of the new forms players will be facing off against. Some of the forms shown off have certainly sparked debate in the community, with Pokemon Legends: Z-A take on Mega Chimecho being near the top of that list. Combining Chimecho with elements from its pre-evolution form of Chingling, which gives it an interesting appearance even if its overall stats may not be up to snuff. Either way, Pokemon fans can now test things out on their own with Update 2.0.0 now being available.

Pokemon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension Levels Explained

The Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends Z-A allows your party members to go beyond level 100. Here’s all you need to know about this.

The day many have been waiting for has finally arrived as Update 2.0.0 for Pokemon Legends: Z-A opens the door for Mega Dimension. Players who have purchased the DLC can jump into the new story content as soon as the update finishes downloading. It’s worth noting that players will have first needed to finish the main story of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, at which point a new side mission will appear. At that point, players should head to Hotel Z to start the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

In addition to the new Pokemon to capture, including Mega Baxcalibur, Mega Dimension adds a brand-new story line to experience. Pokemon Legends: Z-A takes players to Hyperspace Lumiose, an alternate dimension of the main city which is devoid of much of its typical colors. These pockets can be accessed through specific distortions that have formed all over the city with the help of a new NPC called Ansha and her Hoopa. Players can bake special donuts using the berries they find to impact their experience in these distortions, including some high-level Pokemon encounters.

So far, Nintendo has even confirmed a number of new Mega Evolutions for popular Pokemon like Mega Lucario Z, but there has also been no shortage of leaks as well. Dataminers have also seemingly discovered that the Pokemon Legends: Z-A DLC will include around 138 returning Pokemon, though with the DLC now available, fans will be able to discover everything for themselves.

Alongside the new content, Nintendo has also confirmed that Version 2.0.0 has also fixed “several issues” but hasn’t provided any details or hints at what was actually addressed. While it may be a bit frustrating for fans, it is a pretty common tactic for most, if not all of Nintendo’s first party games. Updates for games like Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Kart World, and other first-party titles commonly feature a line or two in the patch notes indicating that various issues have been fixed without adding any context or details.

The question for many fans is where does Pokemon Legends: Z-A go from here? It’s fairly common for Pokemon titles to see two big downloadable packs, such as Pokemon Scarlet and Violet‘s Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion content, which included two add-on stories called The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. For now, Mega Dimension is all that has been announced to this point for Pokemon Legends: Z-A, so fans will have to wait a bit longer in order to find out what the future holds.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Version 2.0.0 Patch Notes
