It’s possible fans will get a more concrete timeline of when to expect more GTA 6 news, but the more likely scenario is that the game’s release date will be reaffirmed and fans don’t have to stress as much about another potential delay.

The more optimistic GTA 6 fans out there may be hoping to see Trailer 3 drop on May 21, and while that seems unlikely, anything is possible. However, it was previously stated by Take-Two that the GTA 6 marketing efforts will ramp up this summer. Summer 2026 starts on June 21, and so while the May 21 update may be as low-key as a simple release date reaffirmation, the wait for more substantial news on the game is nearly at an end regardless.

GTA 6 Trailer 3 will most likely focus on the game’s single-player content again.
