The popular new spin-off of the long-running monster-catching franchise has already inspired plenty of fans to create some stunning builds in the game. Fans have created sprawling subway systems connecting their Pokopia villages, fully-automated farms to gather resources quickly, and even real-world restaurants like Taco Bell and Olive Garden. Fans have also used the game to pay tribute to some of the most iconic locations found throughout Pokemon, reimagining locations like anime protagonist Ash Ketchum’s house. Now, one particularly inventive Pokopia player has built an amazing replica of a Pokemon stadium.

Pokopia Player Builds a Full-Sized Stadium
Reddit user PokemonMaster_99 showed off their impressive stadium on the Pokopia subreddit. The build features a sprawling arena inspired by the stadiums seen in the anime, complete with the soccer field-like markings and the Poke Ball emblem in the middle. A trophy sits atop a pedestal on one side of the battlefield, while the other side houses a large podium likely meant for a judge officiating any Pokemon battles. The sizable stadium even includes full spectator seating surrounding the battle arena, complete with rows of chairs, side entrances, and even a vending machine for would-be spectators to grab a drink.
The stunning Pokopia stadium was an immediate hit among fans, with many suggesting ways that the creator could increase the arena’s immersion even further. Many fans suggested specific musical tracks to complete the feel of the Pokemon stadium, feeling that the Gym Leader music from Pokemon Sword and Shield would be a perfect fit. The video of the stadium does feature musical accompaniment via one of Pokopia‘s CD players, playing the Gym theme from Pokemon Red and Blue. In response to another fan, the creator also shared that the project required a significant sum of resources, lamenting the amount of iron ore needed for all the seats.
Pokopia fans have crafted a plethora of stunning homages through the game’s building systems, and not just for the Pokemon franchise. Many popular games have also inspired fan creations in the life simulation game, including a fan painstakingly recreating the Resident Evil franchise’s Raccoon City within Pokopia. Other impressive tributes have featured iconic locations like Final Fantasy 9‘s capital city of Alexandria, One Piece‘s Going Merry, and even an in-game Rick Roll built within the game.
