The first reviews for Beast of Reincarnation are starting to appear online, and the game is already receiving critical praise. It’s very unlikely that the game will sell on par with Pokemon, but there’s a chance some fans of the series might give it a try just to see how Game Freak handles a game that’s significantly different. Beast of Reincarnation is coming to Xbox Game Pass, which could also pull in players that might not otherwise take a chance on a new series.

For now, users waiting for a new Game Freak title on Switch 2 might have to hold off until Pokemon Winds and Waves, both of which will come to the system in 2027.
