While a lot of Dragon Ball fans are undoubtedly excited for the upcoming remake of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, he’s not the only God of Destruction on the horizon, as fans just got an unofficial first look at an upcoming, brand-new kind of God of Destruction. As fans know, ever since Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball Super introduced Beerus, Gods of Destruction (especially Beerus) have been mainstays in the franchise, so it’s not surprising to know a new one is coming in 2027.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that this comes from a Dragon Ball leak, and fans should be patient for a proper reveal. It’s almost certainly legit, but that doesn’t mean fans will understand all the details yet based on this Dragon Ball leak alone. This also constitutes possible spoilers for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, so fans wanting to avoid that should turn back now.
Dragon Ball Introducing New Time God of Destruction
Overnight, Steam suffered a massive leak revealing several key details around upcoming games like Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts 4, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, and several more. Specifically, Steam’s API updated achievements for tons of upcoming games, and those were picked up by various achievement tracking websites (as they use crawlers to populate the data). Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3‘s achievements are among them, confirming that the story includes up to Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero at the very least, but the images and icons are what’s most noteworthy.

An achievement titled DEEELICIOUS show what appears to be a small, crocodilian creature wearing the “collar” of a God of Destruction. It’s uncertain how long these achievements will be online, so the best way to describe this creature is a round crocodile with bright yellow eyes that almost looks like Fuecoco from Pokemon. The scales and redness are both sharp enough to be noticeable, but not dominate the design. The “collar” is the biggest hint toward this creature being a God of Destruction, but it reinforces a previous report on the game.
Geekdom101, a known DBZ reporter with a proven track history, previously suggested that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 would introduce a new Time God of Destruction, and this appears to be the first unofficial look at it. It’s uncertain what role it is, but based on Geekdom’s report, this God of Destruction would have two forms: a smaller, less threatening form (pictured in this leak) and a bigger form based on dinosaurs. How that manifests exactly remains to be seen, but it’s an interesting concept for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 to explore.
After all, presumably, the Time God of Destruction has the same relationship with the Supreme Kai of Time as typical Gods of Destruction do with their Supreme Kais. That is to say, they are life-linked and so it could be that this new Time God of Destruction’s life is dependent on Chronoa and vice versa. How all of this ties into the story, Age 1000, the new characters, and so forth remains to be seen, but it really only builds hype for the upcoming release of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
