The latest Fallout 76 update rolled out on July 31, with Bethesda pointing to its newly confirmed Infestation boss nerf as the highlight of the patch. While always intended to be deadly, the new pool of procedurally beefed up mobs ended up being “over tuned,” a company official said, acknowledging that this has caused frustrations among Fallout 76 players. The end-of-month patch seeks to balance things out by lowering the health pools of Infestation bosses. Bethesda did not cite a specific percentage, having only said that the affected bosses have had their HP only “slightly” decreased.
