According to a new leak, Fortnite could be crossing over with Pixar’s Toy Story very soon. This recent leak suggests that this rumored Fortnite x Toy Story collaboration could take place in the early weeks of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, which is set to begin later this week.
Fortnite has hosted hundreds of pop culture collaborations over the last nine or so years. Many of these crossovers have been under the purview of Disney. Some of Fortnite‘s earliest collabs were with Avengers: Infinity War and the wider Marvel brand, and Fortnite Chapter 2 kicked off with a large-scale Star Wars event. Along with a wealth of Disney-adjacent crossovers over the years, Fortnite has hosted plenty of collabs with more traditional Disney IP, such as its Disney Villains skin pack in October 2024 and the Incredibles-themed skin pack the month prior.

Toy Story Could be Coming in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2
If a recent report from @SamLeakss on X is to be believed, then Fortnite‘s ongoing partnership with Disney is going to come back to the fore very soon. On March 18, SamLeakss claimed that Fortnite is going to host a Toy Story crossover in “early Season 2,” presumably referring to the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, which is set to begin on March 19, 2026. According to this leak, three Toy Story skins will be included in this crossover, those being Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Zurg. A “Pizza Planet Car” is also mentioned in the leak, though it’s unclear if this would be a glider, a backpack, a vehicle for Fortnite‘s Rocket Racing mode, or some other kind of cosmetic.

This Fortnite x Toy Story pack is also said to include one or two Sidekicks, though it isn’t expressly stated which character this could be. Scale-wise, it would make sense for this rumored Toy Story Sidekick to be a character like Hamm, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Forky, or Slinky Dog. Perhaps the most likely bet, however, is one of the little green aliens that were first seen trapped inside the Pizza Planet claw machine in the first movie, as they’ve since become one of the most iconic images of the entire Toy Story franchise.
The original leak also doesn’t specifically state if this Toy Story crossover content will come as part of the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass or if it’ll be available as a bundle and standalone skins in the Fortnite Shop. The latter option seems much more likely given that three skins are mentioned in the leak. Fortnite has also already revealed the first official tease of the upcoming Chapter 7 Season 2 Battle Pass, showcasing the return of The Foundation and the Ice King, as well as teasing a Looney Tunes crossover. No kind of Toy Story collab has been officially teased ahead of the Battle Pass’ full reveal.
Of course, all leaks and rumors should always be taken with a hefty pinch of salt, but given Disney’s $1.5 billion investment in Epic Games back in February 2024, a collaboration between Fortnite and one of Pixar’s most lucrative franchises seemed like only a matter of time. That timing, however, is a little interesting. If this leak is true and Fortnite‘s rumored Toy Story collaboration takes place early in Chapter 7 Season 2, then it could arrive as early as three months before Toy Story 5‘s theater release in June. More often than not, Fortnite collabs tend to occur closer to a movie’s release date, acting as another form of marketing. That said, it’s possible for Fortnite to deliver another Toy Story crossover closer to the sequel’s June release date, one that could potentially include characters like Jessie.
