Nintendo Switch 2 Bundle Including Pokemon Pokopia Launching July 2 in Europe

Nintendo has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokemon Pokopia bundle will be available for European markets beginning on July 2. The bundle was originally released back on June 5 exclusively in Australia and New Zealand, but is now coming to Europe as well. Fans can pick up this bundle for £429.99/ €499.99 via the Nintendo Store or participating retailers. This release follows previous Nintendo Switch 2 bundles that have featured Mario Kart World and Pokemon Legends: Z-A in the past.

Currently, there is no word on whether North America will see this Switch 2 bundle, but North American Nintendo fans can still pick up the Nintendo Switch 2: You Choose bundle instead. This Switch 2 bundle offers players the console plus their choice of either Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Pokemon Pokopia. Selecting a digital copy of Pokemon Pokopia with this bundle is effectively the same as the bundle offered to European, Australian, and New Zealand fans, since the console itself doesn’t differ from the base model.

For Pokemon fans, this bundle includes a box with a Pokemon Pokopia-themed design, along with a digital copy of the game. Pokopia is already the highest-rated Pokemon game of all time, allowing players to rebuild a post-apocalyptic version of the Kanto Region in order to attract Pokemon back to their natural habitats. The combination of Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon has propelled Pokopia to rank among the best Pokemon spin-offs of all time. Now is also the best time to dive into the game since Nintendo recently announced a DLC expansion pass for Pokopia at the June 2026 Nintendo Direct. The first part of this Pokopia expansion pass, Bubbly Basin, is set to bring players under the sea as they meet new Pokemon and discover new furniture and clothes for Ditto to wear, and launches this August. The second and third packs of the Pokopia expansion pass are planned to be released in late 2026 and 2027, respectively.
