Persona 6 is targeting a September 2027 launch, according to a well-known Chinese leaker. The same source also shared multiple images said to depict the protagonist of Persona 6, whose design points to one memorable series first: a blonde main character.
In late May 2026, known leaker Lolilolailo took to Chinese social media website Xiaohongshu, also known as RedNote, to share six images that were supposedly obtained from an outsourcing studio involved in the development of Persona 6. Four of the images show a blonde male character said to be the protagonist of Atlus’s upcoming RPG. Two also feature a dark-haired female character, one in a sketch sheet labeled “facial expressions” and “Kugabe Neiko / Yasuko,” according to a machine translation. The label could refer to the female character’s name, while the materials themselves appear to support recent rumors that Persona 6 will feature two protagonists.
Persona 6 Reportedly Coming in September 2027
Separately, Lolilolailo reported that Persona 6 is targeting a September 2027 release, though the source did not elaborate on that claim. Their leak contains two other notable details: a sketch of a subway labeled “P6” and a photo of a computer screen showing a list of PNG files supposedly intended for the upcoming JRPG. The filenames appear to indicate character artwork, possibly of the same kind as the materials newly shared by Lolilolailo.
