Pokopia Cloud Island Features All Block Colors

Pokopia Cloud Island Features All Block Colors

A Pokemon Pokopia player created a Cloud Island, which features a display of all the block colors available in the game. The author of this project not only decided to compile a database of all the color options useful for design in one place, but they also chose to share their project with others by giving them access to their work. This Cloud Island quickly garnered a lot of feedback from the Pokemon Pokopia community, which took the opportunity to highlight the important role these locations play in sharing experiences with other players.

The Cloud Islands in Pokemon Pokopia are designed to give players the chance to build their dream structures without having to limit their creativity or make significant changes to their single-player gameplay. Operating online, these spaces also serve as meeting places for players, as up to four people can be on a single Cloud Island at a time, and there is no limit on the number of visits. Gamers can share access to their islands via Nintendo Switch Online, and those that are fully open to the public allow others to visit even when their creator is not in the game. These principles have made Cloud Islands a place where players can exchange ideas, tips, and inspiration as they seek to unleash their inner architect in the game.

Pokemon Pokopia: Complete Strategy Guide

Unleash the full potential of Pokemon Pokopia with our in-depth strategy guide, featuring guides, walkthroughs, and tips for success.

Pokopia Cloud Island With All Block Colors

One Pokemon Pokopia player decided to create a Cloud Island with a very specific goal in mind. On a subreddit dedicated to the game, a user named Responsible-Ebb-6542 posted a short video showing an exhibition of all colorable blocks on their island. The project’s creator admitted that the goal was to create a color palette for applying paint in Pokopia but noted that the display isn’t finished yet, as they plan to add other non-colorable blocks and other colorable decorations to it. The user shared access to it with others, initially setting it to be fully public, but then, following advice in the comments, changed it to private and asked people to contact them directly to obtain the password.

The post garnered a lot of reactions from players, including over a thousand upvotes and numerous comments, many of which advised the author to give up the public status of their creation due to the risk of losing access to the Cloud Island altogether. In addition, some players expressed their admiration for the execution of an idea that had also occurred to them, though they admitted they didn’t know how to go about it. As a result, they plan to approach the display with great caution so as not to accidentally change anything.

Colors play an important role in building structures in Pokemon Pokopia, as they allow players to give their buildings the desired aesthetic and add depth to the established gameplay loop. Some fan projects wouldn’t even be possible without the ability to choose from a wide variety of colors, as was the case when one Pokopia player recreated Rainbow Road from the Mario Kart series in the game.

Details such as the ability to choose colors, shapes, and textures while building in the game may seem insignificant to players at first glance, but it is precisely these details that allow them to freely express their creativity. As Pokemon Pokopia has been a commercial success since its release, it can be expected that the elements ensuring an engaging gameplay loop will help maintain the gaming community’s interest in the game in the coming days and months.
