The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red has received yet another nomination, but this one isn’t for a game. The Polish game studio’s physical office in Warsaw was nominated for the 12th edition of the Architectural Award of the Mayor of Warsaw.
“We’re very proud to be included in this city-wide competition recognizing the best-designed spaces and buildings in Poland’s capital,” the studio said.
The company’s HQ in Warsaw is where the team leading the development on The Witcher 4 is based. Fans can support CD Projekt Red in the architectural contest by voting for them at this website. The winners will be announced on June 22.
CD Projekt’s Warsaw office includes a user experience lab, a motion capture studio, and “Zen rooms” where people can go to relax. The office also has a “Game Zone,” featuring video game consoles, as well as board games and space for people to play card and tabletop games.
The five-story Warsaw office also has an indoor gym with a climbing wall, along with a rooftop space featuring a basketball court, outdoor gym, and seating to soak up the sunshine. There are panoramic views of Warsaw from the roof. Additionally, the office has the “largest green wall in Poland,” featuring 40,000 plants.
Additionally, CD Projekt said the office is among Warsaw’s most eco-friendly, with the developer noting that the steel used in construction was made in an electric furnace, and that the building’s reinforced concrete mix was “produced with low-emission materials.”
CD Projekt also has offices in the Polish cities Krakow and Wroclaw, along with international outfits in Vancouver and Boston.
The Witcher 4 is one of multiple upcoming projects at CD Projekt. The studio is also making Cyberpunk 2, a game made in partnership with Saudi Arabia, a Witcher 1 remake, and a multiplayer Witcher game.
