Blizzard officially announced the all-new World of Warcraft Forever at today’s BlizzCon. World of Warcraft rumors had been circulating for weeks about a new game mode called Classic Plus with all sorts of new features, but the rumors were inconsistent and heavily mixed with speculation. This week, even more leaks and rumors started appearing online about Classic Plus, with the image of a new playable race added to the game. Many of the leaks and rumors panned out, and now, World of Warcraft Forever is very much real.
World of Warcraft Forever Officially Adds New Races, Skills, and Locations
World of Warcraft Forever is a whole new Warcraft release planned for November, launching in 52 days from today. It is a mix of WoW Classic and WoW Retail, with brand-new options for race and class combinations, a new race called Skyborne, entirely new skill and talent trees for each class, three new playable zones with quests and endgame content, over 1,000 new quests, several all-new Dungeons, and both 10-player and 20-player Raids. Of course, World of Warcraft Forever also adds new loot, and it gives players new, unexplored options for Professions, Reputation, Battlegrounds, and more. The game is confirmed not to have flying mounts or level scaling, on top of that. It’s a difficult game by design, according to Blizzard, and it’s meant to be the ultimate exploration of Azeroth. Lastly, it’s not planned to have constant level cap increases that “invalidate players’ progress.”
