The exclusive Poke Ball Pattern Vivillon is now available for free in Pokemon Legends: Z-A via Mystery Gift, but fans have limited time to claim it. This is yet another way for the Pokemon franchise to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026, as The Pokemon Company has released multiple in-game events and gifts for players to enjoy. Pokemon GO has had free Mega Mewtwo Raids, Pokemon TCG has released a set with incredible pull rates for rare cards, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are still getting new Tera Raids. Now, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is also getting a great event.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A Players Can Now Officially Claim Poke Ball Pattern Vivillon
First announced as the Vivillon Challenge in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, players had a collective goal of 660,000 points gained by evolving Spewpa into Vivillon, and completing the challenge would award everyone a Poke Ball Pattern Vivillon. Today, The Pokemon Company has announced that the goal has been officially reached, and so the exclusive critter is now available to everyone who owns a copy of Pokemon Legends: Z-A on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 for free, regardless of participation in the Vivillon Challenge. To claim the rare Pokemon, fans have to open the in-game menu, select Link Play, then select Mystery Gift, and finally click on Get via Internet. The gift will be available for all players until February 25, 2027, at 5:59 pm PST.
