007 First Light PC Specs and Nvidia Collab Revealed

IO Interactive kicks off 2026 with all new details surrounding its upcoming James Bond action game, 007 First Light, confirming the PC specs for the game, along with exclusive features thanks to a collaboration with Nvidia. After its reveal last year, momentum has continued to build for 007 First Light as it approaches its May 2026 launch date, with even more news arriving just after the New Year began.

Although 007 First Light represents a new future for IO Interactive as it steps away from its popular Hitman franchise for now, there seems to be a lot of DNA shared between the two. Although 007 First Light‘s debut State of Play reveal had some issues, fans noted that the game does seemingly retain some hallmark mechanics like social manipulation and stealth takedowns, though IO Interactive has been quick to indicate that it has pushed way beyond what the Hitman games could offer. With more trailers and footage being shown in the months that followed, fans now have a better idea of what to expect.

007 First Light Dev on Comparisons: ‘We Can’t Simply Reskin a Hitman Game and Call It Bond’

IO Interactive comments on the speculation over whether 007 First Light, the studio’s next release, is just a reskin of its past Hitman games.

007 First Light PC Specs and Exclusive Features

Kicking off the New Year, IO Interactive announced the highly anticipated PC specs and features for 007 First Light. In fact, the announcement comes with confirmation that Nvidia has come on as a partner and is adding PC-exclusive features like DLSS 4 and other RTX settings for players to mess with. This includes DLSS upscaling and frame generation, specifically with Super Resolution and Multi Frame Generation (MFG) for GeForce RTX 50 series owners. In fact, IO Interactive has also made a brand-new volumetric smoke system, which aims to make explosions, fog, and other smoke effects hyperrealistic.

In addition, PC players can now prepare their rigs for the arrival of 007 First Light by taking a look at the minimum and recommended PC specs. As it stands, 007 First Light doesn’t appear to be a PC heavyweight by any stretch, as at a minimum, it requires 16 GB of RAM, 80 GB of storage space, and an Nvidia GTX 1660, AMD RX 5700, or equivalent. Considering some issues other PC games can have with minimum specs, like Borderlands 4 did, fans will likely want to aim a bit higher with the recommended specs, which can be found in full below.

On top of all that, IO Interactive is continuing to offer players a free Deluxe Edition upgrade for 007 First Light just for pre-ordering. It’s unknown how long this offer will last as the game continues to head towards its launch date, so interested players may want to move quickly. For those curious, the Deluxe Edition contains four outfits for James Bond, the Agent’s Mark weapon skin, and the Gleaming Pack which adds unique versions of the Lighter, Pen, Earphones, and Dart Gun.

It could be argued that 007 First Light directly benefited from Grand Theft Auto 6 being delayed out of the Spring 2026 window, with more attention now being placed on IO Interactive’s game. Even though 007 First Light also saw a minor delay, the game appears to be shaping up to be one of 2026’s biggest releases, thanks in large part to an impressive cast attached to the project. While IO Interactive has previously announced the likes of Patrick Gibson, Lennie James, and Gemma Chan, the studio revealed that Grammy-winning musician Lenny Kravitz would be playing the villainous role of Bawma.
