Fortune’s Weave Get Encouraging Updates

Fortune’s Weave Get Encouraging Updates

It’s looking increasingly likely that Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, two of the biggest upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games, will be released soon. Splatoon Raiders was first announced last year, but is currently without a specific release window. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave was announced a few months later, and according to the latest information from Nintendo, is aiming for a 2026 release.

Nintendo has ensured that the Switch 2 has had a steady stream of big new game releases since its launch last year. The Switch 2 launched with Mario Kart World, and a month later, Donkey Kong Bananza hit the scene. Games like Kirby Air Riders and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment followed in 2025, with 2026 seeing the release of titles like Mario Tennis Fever and Pokemon Pokopia. There aren’t too many upcoming Switch 2 exclusives that have been announced so far, but two of them may very well be releasing in the very near future.

New Luigi’s Mansion Switch 2 Game Leaked

According to a new leak, a fourth Luigi’s Mansion game could currently be in the works for the Nintendo Switch 2.

Both Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Could Be Releasing Soon

Both Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave were recently rated by PEGI, the European equivalent of the ESRB. Typically, this happens when a game is close to launch, meaning it’s entirely likely that both Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will be released in a manner of months. While that may seem too quick, summer 2026 release dates for the games would match previous leaks that have been corroborated by reliable sources and given additional credibility by Nintendo itself.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Splatoon Raiders were part of the big Switch 2 Summer 2026 leaks that claimed to reveal the big games Nintendo has planned for the console this summer. Another game mentioned in the leaks was Rhythm Heaven Groove, which has since been confirmed to have a summer 2026 release date by Nintendo. This makes the other claims in the leak easier to believe, and with the PEGI ratings going live, it definitely seems like both Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Splatoon Raiders are indeed releasing this summer, though fans should keep their expectations in check. While games typically release not long after they get their age ratings, there have been instances when games have been pushed back and take a lot longer to launch, so fans should keep that in mind.

What Other Switch 2 Games Are On the Way?

Star Fox characters

Assuming the leak was accurate, a new Star Fox game, a Nintendo Switch Sports release of some kind, and Pikmin 4: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition are also potentially launching this summer. Nintendo will likely host a Nintendo Direct presentation this June where these projects will be properly showcased, so fans should keep an eye out for more info.

As far as upcoming Switch 2 exclusives with solid release dates, there’s only one at the time of this writing. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is releasing on May 21, so Switch 2 owners can mark their calendars accordingly and look forward to that game while they wait for more information on titles like Splatoon Raiders and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave.
