The Pokemon Company has reported its earnings for the fiscal year ending in February 2026, and it’s the best year the franchise has ever had. The strength of Pokemon as a brand largely lies in the fact that there’s a variety of experiences that cater to fans of all ages. Between Switch games, the TCG, mobile options, LEGO, and the anime, there are many different options, and these have helped the franchise thrive for the last three decades.
In the fiscal year ending in February 2026, The Pokemon Company reported revenue of $3.33 billion, with a net profit of $752 million. Those numbers have been attributed largely to the success of two games: Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Pokemon TCG Pocket. Pokemon Legends: Z-A is a best-seller on Switch 2, but the game was also released on the original Switch. Between the two platforms, the game has clearly sold a lot of copies, helping The Pokemon Company’s net profit increase by 70% over the previous year.
